According to UzLiDeP`s opinion, one of the most important outcomes of the Tashkent conference is that the world community supports the efforts of the Central Asian states, primarily Tashkent on ensuring peace and stability in Afghanistan, their involvement in regional economic and infrastructural ties. Obviously, we all need to realize that we are struggling not just for the future of Afghanistan, but for our common security, for a world without terrorism, fanaticism and violence.

The Tashkent Conference's declaration supported such initiatives of the Uzbek side as involvement of Afghanistan in regional economic cooperation and implementation of transport and communication projects connecting Central Asia with South Asia and other regions. The economic integration of Afghanistan into the region will be the major contribution to ensure peaceful development in this country and the vast region as a whole.

It was emphasized the need for timely implementation of regional trade-transit, transport, energy, infrastructure and communication projects linking Afghanistan with its closest neighbors and a large region, which will provide tangible benefits for the population of the region as a whole.
