In order to demonstrate the investment potential of the Jizzakh region and organize a national exhibition of producers, an International Forum was organized in cooperation with the State Investment Committee, the Jizzakh regional Khokimiyat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It was attended by about 300 representatives from 28 countries, as well as representatives of missions, representative offices of international organizations in our country. 

During the forum, participants were provided with information on the conditions and preferences created for foreign and domestic investors in our country. Many businessmen - representatives of the UzLiDeP electorate concluded agreements on the implementation of investment projects.

– This forum was very useful for entrepreneurs, - said the head of «Sangzor Vodiysi» LLC, activist of UzLiDeP I. Ishimov. – We signed an agreement with the company «Myung Sung Placon Ltd» of South Korean for the implementation of the project at a cost of 865 thousand US dollars. Within the framework of this project it is planned to build a greenhouse on the basis of modern technologies and create 25 workplaces.

– The company LG South Korea signed a contract for the implementation of a joint project worth 40 million US dollars, - said the head of Jizzax Plastmassa JSC, UzLiDeP`s activist E. Turakulov. – During the event we also plan to hold negotiations with foreign partners on the implementation of several promising projects.

It should be noted that in the framework of the forum the participants also visited the tourist zones of the region, in particular, the national park of Zamin.
