Members of UzLiDeP’s Young Leader club call on the population to effectively use their household lands
Members of the Young Leaders Club of the Youth Wing of UzLiDeP are active in promoting the effective use of household land of the population.
Members of the Young Leaders club of Fergana city Kengash of UzLiDeP, by studying the household lands of the population, assist in the use of vacant space.
To date, the working group members have studied 60 households. Benefits and booklets are distributed among the population on the basis of a scientific calculation of the profit from grown produced. Studies have shown that, on average, on 4 acres of household lands, fruit trees are planted, vegetables are grown between rows, individual families have built greenhouses and have grown lemons, tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens.
Living in the house No. 71 of the makhalla Okarikobod Kobiljon aka on his household lands planted 35 cherries and other fruit trees for the effective use of the entire area between the trees grows carrots, tomatoes, potatoes.
“Trees have been planted recently, but this year we hope to harvest in the amount of 1 ton”, - says Kobiljon aka.
Living in the house No. 80 of this makhalla Teshaboyev Mamasoli aka on his 6 acres grows potatoes, garlic, as well as 4 seedlings of apricot, 10 apple trees, 2 almonds and 6 pistachios.
It is gratifying that despite the water deficit in this area, many families effectively use their homestead lands.
For citizens who do not have sufficient experience in the use of household land, experienced farmers held workshops, on the basis of the manuals developed by them, appropriate advice was given.
