Bukhara District Kengash of people's deputies hosted a regular meeting of UzLiDeP deputy group.

First, a report was heard from the deputy khokim of the district, the Chairman of the Women's Committee Dilfuza Mustafoyeva on activities for development of family business in the territory, raising the role and status of women in public and political life.

As noted in the report, last year, 523 unemployed women were identified, of which 427 began working in various organizations, enterprises, institutions, 1,412 women also opened workbooks, and a number of needy women were assisted in the repair of houses.

The promotion and explanatory work carried out on prevention of crime among women in the district yields practical results. In 2018, 24 cases of suicide were recorded in the district, of which 12 were committed by women, in the first quarter of this year no offenses and crimes were committed in the territory at all.

Considerable work has been done to attract women into the business sphere, to provide concessional loans. Sewing machines were purchased for 75 women, last year loans in the amount of 600 million UZS were allocated for the development of this sector. In the first quarter of this year, the figure was 690 million UZS. In the district, on the basis of a public-private partnership, preschool education institutions began to operate in Shekhoncha, Shergiron, Rabotak and Istiqbol CAMs.

Information was taken into account on the activities of the district women's committee, the deputies expressed their opinions and suggestions. At the meeting of the deputy group, they also discussed ensuring the execution of the tasks planned for 2019 for the construction, reconstruction and repair of roads, and the development of infrastructure of territories. Information of the head of the district unitary enterprise for the maintenance of roads Uchkun Rakhmatov on this issue was heard.

As noted in the report, the total length of roads in the district is 950 kilometers. In 2019, it is planned to allocate 2174.1 million UZS for current repair, road maintenance at the required level and other works.

The district has developed a targeted program for construction, reconstruction and repair of roads in 2019-2022, in accordance with this program, it is planned to implement the work at 132 kilometers in the amount of 207,000 million UZS. The next address list provides for repair of internal economic roads, in 2020-2022 more than 392.7 km of roads will be repaired. The cost of these works will amount to 59800 million UZS.

Members of the deputy group criticized the state of individual roads, causing fair discontent of the population. In order to solve the identified problems in time, a proposal was introduced to consider these issues at the regular session of the district Kengash of deputies.
