Products of S.Akhmedova from Gurlan are exported to Germany, the United States and the United Arab Emirates

A resident of Bagat district L. Sobirova opened a beauty salon in the makhalla and teaches women her skills. S. Akhmedova from Gurlan is engaged in harvesting honey and exporting products to Germany, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. And clothes made by Z. Aminova from Khozarasp are of high quality and elegance.

Bagat, Gurlan, Khozarasp district stages of “Ishbilarmon ayol” (Businesswomen) competition held by Khorezm regional Kengash of UzLiDeP presented an opportunity to become more closely acquainted with activities of enterprising and industrious women.

“This competition has become a kind of platform for demonstrating the potential of women entrepreneurs and farmers”, said Dilfuza Bazarbayeva, head of “Bakhodir Rakhimbergan” LLC of Gurlan district. “We have demonstrated more than 10 types of men’s suits, jackets and other seasonal clothing. I am glad that our products are in demand in the domestic market. We intend to increase the range and export products”.

In evaluating activities of contestants, such aspects as creation of jobs for women, production of export-oriented and import-substituting products, the quality of services provided, introduction of innovative ideas into the activity were taken into account.

“I won the third place in the competition”, says M. Jumaniyazova, head of “Maksuda Jumaniyazova” family enterprise. “Now with girls we will defend the honor of the district at the regional stage of the competition. Of course, the opportunities provided serve as an incentive for our female employees to search and creative developments”.

Winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts of the regional Kengash of the party.
