“There should be no difficulties when exporting fruit and vegetable products”

Namangan hosted a meeting to discuss the updated program and the Pre-election program of UzLiDeP.

Participants of the meeting focused on issues such as preparing for the upcoming elections on the basis of new and innovative approaches, taking into account the requirements of the time, nominating worthy candidates for deputies, selecting reliable representatives for observers, using PR technologies in the electoral process.

“Current voters are completely different from voters as they were five years ago”, said Ibrokhim Khojiyev, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. “An updated program and the Pre-election program of the party have been developed, but one cannot say that they are fully developed. Because there are a number of shortcomings. For example, the Program does not focus on the issue of working with the media, youth and women’s issues are also not solved in accordance with modern requirements. In this regard, the Program should be developed taking into account the wishes of the electorate and in accordance with the reforms carried out by the Head of the state.

At the meeting, the deputy chairman of the regional kengash of the party Sobitkhon Numonov expressed an opinion on revision of contracts between suppliers and consumers, and conflicts on the quality of typical housing offered to the population should be resolved not only by banks, but also by khokimiyats and development organizations.

Zukhriddin Khoshimov, Director of the production cooperative “VALLEY FRUITS”, suggested: “By further liberalizing the export rules in the country, cooperatives should be organized to support the interests of farmers, dehkans and owners of homestead lands and improve their activities”. He also added: “At the same time, it is necessary to allocate preferential, long-term, interest-free loans to farms and dehkan farms, creating organic gardens. And then there will be no difficulties in exporting fruit and vegetable products”.

“Currently, it is necessary to remove barriers faced by entrepreneurs in the banking and credit sector, introduce bank loans, ensure transparency of activities of banks and increase participation of banks operating on the basis of foreign investments, create healthy competition among banks”, said the activist of the party, entrepreneur Khakima Toshmatova. “Creating business opportunities for entrepreneurs is a requirement of time. To do this, by increasing the number of commercial banks with participation of private and foreign capital, it is necessary to increase the volume of loans and reduce interest rates on loans.

At the meeting, tasks of preparing for the upcoming elections and nomination of worthy candidates were outlined.
