Each year, Uzbekistan celebrates the Independence Day on a special occasion. This year, the 28^th Anniversary of Independence will be held under the motto “Prosper forever, my dear Uzbekistan!” According to tradition, before the holiday, discussions, cultural and educational events are held on the importance of independence in the life of people, the milestones reached, and the results of the ongoing reforms. One of these events took place in Kizirik district.

The event, organized by UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and Surkhandarya regional kengash of the party, began with a conversation, which was attended by deputies, homeowners, farmers and entrepreneurs of the region. Deputies spoke about the attention paid to private sector during the years of independence, benefits provided, an active investment policy, basic conditions for achieving stable economic development, the importance of tax reforms in the country. Then, participants shared their problems and proposals for development of entrepreneurship.

“During the conversation, I learned that by the resolution of the President, the Agency for the Development of Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship was established under the Ministry of Economy and Industry, which acts as an organization that provides assistance to entrepreneurs or expanding their activities”, said head of the farm “Nurbek Ikhtiyor Mirishkori” Ikhtiyor Kholikov. – Also in the course of the conversation, I asked for privileges for the purchase of equipment for deep tillage. If the farms have such equipment, farmers will not need to rent the equipment of private enterprises for a high price.

Participants made almost 10 proposals regarding the advisory service necessary for young people to acquire initial skills in establishing entrepreneurship, allocating land and obtaining soft loans.

“We visited the remote territory of Surkhandarya region – in Kizirik district and got acquainted with activities of entrepreneurs, farmers and homeowners”, said the Executive Secretary of UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Toir Salimov. – We studied their problems and proposals for their solution. We will forward these proposals through parliamentary inquiries to relevant ministries, and on important issues, if necessary, we will submit proposals from the faction for consideration, using the “Government Hour” institution of the parliament.

After accepting the proposals of the event participants, 10 young farmers and entrepreneurs were presented with UzLiDeP membership cards.

Then an exhibition of investment projects and products of entrepreneurs, farmers and homeowners of Kizirik district and the work carried out under the programs “Every Family Entrepreneur”, “Youth is Our Future”, “Obod Qishlok” (Prosperous village) and “Obod Makhalla” (Prosperous neighborhood) took place.

“I’ve been engaged in fish farming for 10 years”, said Ulugbek Kushbokov, Head of “Janub Tongi Diyori” farm operating on the territory of Zartepa makhalla. – In a natural lake occupying 5 hectares, we grow up to 12 tons of fish annually, and in an artificial pool with an area of ​​2.5 hectares – up to 10 tons of fry. Based on Chinese technology, we produce up to 10 tons of animal feed and deliver it to fish farms. This year, with the assistance of the regional department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we have signed an agreement on the export of up to 10 tons of fish and fry to Afghanistan. We are presenting our products at this exhibition. At the event, we have received detailed information about new resolutions and normative acts on protecting the rights and interests of entrepreneurs.

Products of handicraft, beekeeping, modern furniture and building materials were also demonstrated at the exhibition.
