Farmer is always on the field

At present, our people are going through a difficult period. But with firm discipline and strong will, we are sure to overcome this trouble.

The government encourages everyone to stay home. Correctly organize staying at home, engage in useful work, meaningfully use every minute – it all depends on us. If each landowner will grow crops, a contribution will be made to ensure the domestic needs for food products, preventing unjustified price increases.

At the videoconference chaired by the Head of the state, it was noted that taking into account the current difficult situation, agricultural workers, subject to necessary medical rules, should continue to work in the fields.

The farmer is always on the field. Personally, me, the head of the farm “Otaboy Sulolasi Otabek fermer khujaligi” and 28 of our employees, following sanitary rules, are working on the field. We have completed the fertilization of grain fields, we continue to care for cotton. There is a fruit garden in our farm, we look after the trees to contribute to the saturation of the domestic market, we grow gourds between the rows of trees. We began preparations for feeding silkworm caterpillars. In the coming days, we will deliver boxes of mulberry croutons to homes. This will also help women to organize time efficiently during quarantine.

Against the crisis caused by the pandemic of the coronavirus, it is necessary to fight with hard work, to effectively use household land. In the current difficult situation, it is advisable to get twice as much yield from private land as in previous years. I know that our people are hardworking, they know agriculture very well, and therefore there will be no food shortage in our country, and working at home will help to increase incomes and increase the wellbeing of the population.
