A group of deputies led by the Deputy Speaker get acquainted with activities of business entities, farms and private land owners in Fergana region

Meeting the needs of the population for food products, the balance of prices and food quality is inextricably linked with the efficient use of land resources. This is of particular relevance today during the period of the coronavirus pandemic. In the current difficult conditions, the agricultural sector has the greatest potential in maintaining economic stability.

A group of deputies under the leadership of the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Head of UzLiDeP faction Aktam Khaitov, during the pandemic, becomes acquainted with activities of business entities, farms and private landowners of Fergana region in order to provide practical assistance.

Members of the working group, headed by the Deputy Speaker, first got acquainted with the activities of Unsin Aya multidisciplinary farm in Baghdad district.

The farm feeds 60 thousand heads of “Broiler” breed, 30 thousand tons of dietary meat are delivered to the domestic market every month. At the same time, 130 heads of cattle imported from Germany and the Netherlands are engaged in fattening. Dairy and meat products are procured.

It is worth noting that, to date, Unsin Aya farm for patients who have been treated for coronavirus at Oltiariq sanatorium, as well as for quarantined citizens, is delivering milk, meat and eggs free of charge.

– At present, the most important tasks are the phased restoration of the work of economic sectors, the resumption of activities of enterprises and increasing export of products, – said the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Head of UzLiDeP faction, Aktam Khaitov. – In this regard, our country takes every opportunity to ensure economic growth, stimulate investment activity, and restore production rates. In this direction, decrees and resolutions of the Head of the state have been adopted, business structures are provided with benefits and preferences.

At the meetings and during the conversations, information was presented on the nature and significance of the Presidential Decree “On the next measures to support the population and business entities during the coronavirus pandemic” adopted on May 18 this year and the priority tasks outlined in the document.

The public with great satisfaction accepted the Nationwide Movement “Generosity and Support” organized at the initiative of the Head of the state. Unsin Aya farm did not remain aside from the nationwide movement, and during these test days it is engaged in charity work. Necessary food products are delivered to socially needy, disabled, and families who have lost their breadwinners.

– During the quarantine period, our farm took patronage over 100 families of Baghdad district, – said A. Dehkonov, the representative of people, the Head of Unsin Aya multidisciplinary farm. – At present, 28 people have permanent jobs in our farm, we also have 20 seasonal workers.

Currently, A. Dehkonov is organizing a poultry complex in an area of ​​4 hectares. With the launch of the enterprise, there will be an opportunity for fattening 10 thousand heads of poultry. Markets will be provided with poultry meat and eggs. Therefore, egg prices will be stabilized in the district.

Deputy Speaker noted that with the launch of this large poultry complex in the district, many young people will get jobs, emphasized that the project needs to be implemented faster, if problems occur, deputies will help in their elimination.
