In order to celebrate the 80th birth anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outstanding statesman and political leader Islam Karimov and perpetuation of his bright memory, the youth department of the Tashkent regional council of UzLiDeP jointly with the Tashkent State Agrarian University organized a spiritual and educational event on the theme "Architect of Independence".

It was attended by employees of the regional party council, activists of UzLiDeP, members of the deputy group of the Kibray district Kengash people's deputies, laureates of the state prize, professors-teachers and students ' youth.

Within the framework of the event, participants laid flowers at the monument to the First President at scientific enlightenment memorial complex named after Islam Karimov, paid tribute to the memory of the great son of people of Uzbekistan.

After that, the participants have watched a film about Islam Karimov – the founder of independent Uzbekistan, dedicated to the life and work of our First President.

– The great state and political figure Islam Abduganiyevich Karimov will remain forever in the hearts of our people, – said head of department on work with youth of the Tashkent regional council of UzLiDeP D. Kamoliddinov. – Islam Karimov laid the foundation of independent Uzbekistan and brought our state to the great path of development. This man won the people's love. The unlimited merits of the First President of our country on the way to the prosperity of the people and the country will forever be inscribed in the chronicle of our Motherland.

At the meeting, participants noted that Islam Abduganiyevich Karimov selflessly loved his people, he faithfully served Uzbekistan until the last days of his life and that the unfading memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of our compatriots, all our people.
