At the invitation of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor of the Sorbonne University of France Guy Olivier Faure is observing the election campaign in Uzbekistan.

On October 22, 2021, he met with representatives of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP). At the meeting, the guest got familiar with the history and ideology of UzLiDeP, the pre-election program of the candidate from the party Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the progress of campaigning and explanatory work.
