Wide opportunities and conditions for entrepreneurs of Karakalpakstan

The Decree of the President of the country “On additional measures to improve the welfare of the population of the Republic of Karakalpakstan through the accelerated development of entrepreneurship, innovative technologies and infrastructure”, adopted on August 31 this year, will be of particular importance to our people. The decree notes that to effectively use the socio-economic, including the production and investment potential of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, develop entrepreneurial activity and stimulate the production of competitive products with high added value, expand the range of financial services provided to entrepreneurs, ensure employment of the population by creating infrastructure conditions, as well as the transition to a new level of economic and social development of the region, it is planned to carry out activities in several areas.

From January 1, 2023 to January 1, 2028 for business entities located in all regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and operating in this region:

reduce by 50 percent tax rates for income tax, turnover tax, property tax and land tax from legal entities;

reduce the social tax and set the tax rate at 1 percent;

reduce the social tax paid by individual entrepreneurs by 12 times for persons operating in cities, by 6 times for persons operating in districts, and set at a single rate of the base calculated value per year. These measures delighted all entrepreneurs and businesspeople.

We, 30 deputies of the local Council, operating in Beruni district, will explain the essence and content of this decree to our voters at our meetings and thereby contribute to its implementation.

The decree of the President of the country, issued separately for the people of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, is a high attention and respect for the Karakalpak people. It raised the spirit of the people, of the entire multinational people living in this land.

We, the deputies, inspired by this decree, will not spare our efforts for devoted service to our Motherland, educating the younger generation in the spirit of interethnic harmony and tolerance, love for the Motherland.
