Jizzakh students called peers to actively participate in the referendum

Members of the Women’s Wing of Jizzakh Regional Council of UzLiDeP, in cooperation with Jizzakh City Council of the party, organized an open dialogue “Together – to an open society!” at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. The event was attended by deputies of the local council, party activists, professors, teachers and students of the institute.

During the dialogue, the participants spoke about the draft Constitutional law. As noted, well-trained qualified specialists can contribute to the development of New Uzbekistan. At the meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations, the President spoke about the coverage of the general population with higher education. In Uzbekistan it is planned to cover 50 percent of young people with higher education by 2030. In this regard, the right to receive higher education is enshrined in the Constitution. Not everyone can study on a contract basis. Therefore, the Constitution guarantees the possibility of education at the expense of the state budget based on the contest.

At the event, it became obvious that the students not only seriously studied the essence and significance of the draft Constitutional law, but also called on their peers to actively participate in the upcoming April 30 referendum.
