Human interests are above all

UzLiDeP activists, deputies of regional, district and city councils and representatives of the general public gathered in the Cultural and Recreational Park in the center of Qiziltepa district. The participants were informed about the essence of the updated Constitution and the participation of the population in the upcoming referendum.

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP Aktam Khaitov, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Akshagul Tolegenova, Senator Ulugbek Fayziyev noted that every passing day is full of changes in the country. The results of fundamental reforms implemented in the country are reflected in the cities and remote villages. The Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has been contributing to the reforms being carried out under the leadership of the President.

– We all see the achievements, – the party leader said. – Indeed, our country is taking important steps to fundamentally improve the lives of our people, ensure human rights and freedoms, the rule of law and social justice, and develop entrepreneurship. The new system, formed based on the principle “Human interests are above all”, fully justifies itself. This means that we have entered the period of the process that will decide the present day and future of our independent country.

At the current stage of Uzbekistan’s development, essentially completely new tasks, noble goals and hopeful aspirations reflected in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan make it necessary to create a corresponding constitutional and legal space. With a proper understanding of this demand, it is expected that our Basic Law will be adopted in a completely new version.

Note that the following norms are enshrined in Article 65 of the updated Constitution: “Private property is inviolable. No person may be deprived of his property except in the manner prescribed by law or by the decision of the court”.

This norm indicates that the issue of ensuring human interests is of primary importance in Uzbekistan. It also serves to strengthen the reliable protection of property rights in the country.

Or let’s take the norm not to deprive citizens of their property without a court decision. In the future, this innovation will serve to increase the welfare of the population, further support entrepreneurship, legally guarantee ownership relations, and strengthen the inviolability of private property.

Encouraged by the above news, the representatives of the population expressed their satisfaction with such changes aimed at further improving people’s lives.

Following the event, all participants noted that they would vote for the Renewed Constitution in the referendum.

Songs about tranquility, peace, praising the Motherland and the family gave a good mood to those gathered.
