The Uzbek-Swiss joint company «Pakhtakorteks» will process 24 tons per day, and annually 9,000 tons of cotton-raw cotton. The share of foreign investors aimed at the implementation of this project for the production of yarn is 22 million 500 thousand US dollars or 60 percent of funds.

– The enterprise started construction work since June of last year, – said head of department of the Jizzakh regional council of UzLiDeP A. Fozilov. – Construction work is ongoing. It is no secret that new infrastructure is being formed in the territories where such large projects are being built. In addition, with the launch of the enterprise, an opportunity will also be created for organizing a large number of small business entities. Most importantly, the company will create 300 new jobs in the fourth quarter of the current year.

It is planned to export finished products, which will be produced at the enterprise, not only to the domestic market, but also to the external market.
