This was announced at an event organized by Namangan regional Kengash of UzLiDeP and dedicated to issues of further achieving positive results in the economic sphere as a guarantor of solving social problems.

At the event it was noted that within the framework of the resolution of the President “On measures for organizing small industrial zones in Namangan region” of July 2, 2018, 6 small industrial zones were created in the city of Namangan. Currently, thanks to the initiatives of entrepreneurs, they are implementing 211 projects worth 1 trillion 229 billion UZS.

According to the organizers of the event, 16 thousand new jobs will be created subject to the successful launch of all projects in small industrial zones “Orzu”, “Pakhtalikkul”, “Yuksalish”, “Khanabad”, “Mashad” and “Zarbdor”, occupying a total area of ​​124 hectares.

“206 projects worth 4.39 trillion UZS will be implemented in the city of Namangan in 2019-2020. These projects are aimed at development of industry, provision of services and agriculture. Soft loans totaling 44.7 billion UZS will be allocated for the implementation of the program “Youth is our future” in the city. This will provide jobs for 1,350 young people”, - says the Head of the Staff of Namangan regional Kengash of UzLiDeP Ibrokhim Sattarov.
