After UzLiDeP deputy’s request, Orzugul Meliyeva was appointed permanent medical control

Kenja Raimova, residing at the city of Samarkand, st. Istiqbol, house 12, has been caring for granddaughter Orzugul Meliyeva (disabled person of the first group) for 34 years. An elderly woman told that at the age of one Orzugul had an incorrect diagnosis and as a result she became disabled. The girl’s mother abandoned her upbringing.

In January this year, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Adkham Shodmonov, during a reception organized for Samarkand voters, met with 80-year-old Kenja Raimova and listened to her problems.

In 2017, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the disabled girl Orzugul Meliyeva was officially allocated a place to stay at No. 1, Rudakiy Street, Samarkand. However, to date, the place of residence is not provided.

Responsible persons of the medical sphere of the city of Samarkand do not pay enough attention to the health status of the disabled O. Meliyeva. In this regard, she asked to organize treatment of Orzugul under a grant or with the assistance of sponsors in the Federal Scientific Center of Rehabilitation of the Disabled named after G.A. Albrecht in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.

According to this appeal, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Adkham Shodmonov sent a request to Samarkand regional khokimiyat.

In response to a request in accordance with the resolution of Samarkand regional khokimiyat of February 2, 2018, Orzugul Meliyeva was allocated a 1-room apartment in a high-rise building on Gulom Karimov Street with a total area of 35.35 square meters and a living area of 16.65 square meters.

At the same time, in accordance with the order of Samarkand City Medical Association “On organization of continuous medical control” of February 19, 2019, the 3-family polyclinic of the city of Samarkand developed an annual plan of continuous medical monitoring for O. Meliyeva.

In accordance with this plan, a neuropathologist, a therapy physician, a masseuse were attached to the girl, as well as appropriate health procedures and a monthly medical examination were scheduled for 3 days and a week.

Conduction of continuous medical monitoring in accordance with the developed plan was noted.
