Youth Wing of Kokand city Kengash of UzLiDeP hosted a roundtable discussion within the framework of “Safe Internet” project.

Main attention at the event was paid to forming among young people a culture of receiving and transmitting information, issues about the negative aspects of the Internet and their consequences, correct and targeted use of the Internet and strengthening the role of the party in this direction.

– Currently, activity on youth education imposes responsibility not only on family and educational institutions, but also on political parties, – said the Executive Secretary of UzLiDeP deputy group in Kokand city council of people's deputies M. Yusupov. It is necessary to carry out more outreach activities on developing a culture of using the Internet among young people. In the context of deepening the global process, our main task should become the protection of young people from negative information posted on social networks.

At the event, the need was noted for strengthening cooperation of family – makhalla – education institution, supporting the interests and aspirations of young people, enhancing the effectiveness of spiritual and enlightenment work.

At the event, an agreement was reached on regular holding of on-site activities within the project.
