For twenty-eight years in our independent country, this date has traditionally been celebrated. An important program document in this direction are the resolutions adopted in connection with this date by the Head of the state.

Recently, the press published a resolution of the President “On preparation and conduction of the celebration of the 28^th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The resolution defines priorities for preparation for a worthy celebration of this sacred holiday, which will be held under the motto “Flourish forever, my dear Uzbekistan!”

Based on the tasks outlined in it, this resolution will serve as a program document for us in a worthy preparation and solemn celebration of the holiday by all people in our beautiful cities and villages. The resolution calls for pride in the achievements of each of us, as well as strengthening in each person a sense of responsibility for the future of the country.

Having made a history review, we will understand what great things are done after the country achieved independence. During this period, a new generation has grown up in the country. A sense of responsibility and involvement in the fate of the country has increased among people. High boundaries, pictures of a free and prosperous Motherland – all this is achieved thanks to independence. The reforms carried out within the framework of the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, the State programs “Year of active investments and social development”, “Obod qishloq” (Prosperous villages), “Obod makhalla” (Prosperous neighborhood), “Each family entrepreneur”, “Youth is our future”, “Five positive initiatives” fundamentally change the image of the country.

Today, large-scale work is being carried out across the country to prepare for a worthy, solemn celebration of the 28^th anniversary of independence. It would not be a mistake to say that every compatriot seeks to make his own contribution to this great holiday. Because our goals are clear, and this is building a bright future, strengthening our positions in the international arena.

In short, we must preserve the peace and tranquility in the country, the prosperous life of people, our beautiful and unique Homeland, the inviolability of its borders. To do this, each of us is required a responsible attitude to our activities.
