At the video conference on development of entrepreneurship in the regions and unconditional provision of budget revenues, held on July 8 this year, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was noted that the only way to get out of the pandemic strong is to create a favorable environment for small business and entrepreneurship.

During the coronavirus pandemic, maintaining economic stability and lifting the population out of poverty become more important than ever.

The Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the head of UzLiDeP faction Aktam Khaitov, in order to familiarize with the activities of farms and owners of household land, provide them with practical assistance during a pandemic and provide information on benefits to entrepreneurs, scheduled at the videoconference under the leadership of the President, visited the business entities of Fergana region.

Deputy Speaker got acquainted with the work process of the joint venture  “Farg’ona Toshdan Qog’oz O’zbekiston – Hitoy”.

The enterprise was founded by an entrepreneur, UzLiDeP activist Abdurakhmon Niyozov in 2019. The enterprise will be commissioned in October 2020, 100 jobs will be created here. The project provides for production of environmentally friendly paper, which is the hallmark of the innovative idea. The necessary equipment has already been purchased for the enterprise laboratory. Due to the pandemic, the import of the rest of the equipment has been temporarily stopped.

A. Khaitov told entrepreneurs that from July 1, for the first time in the country, a mechanism for returning a part of the value added tax to entrepreneurs will begin to operate. Also, at the meeting, it was noted that during the visit of the Head of the state Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Fergana region on June 5-6 this year, the President, having familiarized himself with the large-scale projects and activities of new enterprises being implemented in the region, noted with satisfaction the increasing role of entrepreneurs in socio-political life of the country.

“On the basis of the updates carried out in the region, the President forwarded the idea of​​ “Entrepreneur of Fergana – reformer of Fergana”. Such high recognition of the President gave a sense of pride to entrepreneurs” said A. Niyozov. “Today, all entrepreneurs in Fergana support the President’s idea and are working to spread the Fergana experience throughout the country in the near future”.

Aktam Khaitov got acquainted with the activities of “Vodiy Azimut” LLC headed by Tokhirbek Gafurov, specializing in production of complete rationed pelleted feed for poultry, fish and livestock.

In general, promising and innovative projects implemented by such Fergana entrepreneurs as the head of the joint venture “Farg’ona Toshdan Qog’oz O’zbekiston – Hitoy”, products manufactured at the level of international standards will become brands of a new, renewed Uzbekistan.
