During the implementation of the Strategy of Action in 2017, special attention was paid to the advancement of the principle «Human interests – above all» and the noble idea «It is not the people who should serve the government bodies, but it is the government bodies who should serve our people». As a result, more than 30 laws and more than 900 by-laws have been adopted to improve the people’s well-being, accelerate economic development and ensure the rule of law. This has led to a further improvement of people's living standards.

The adoption of the decree of the President of our country “On the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy for the Five Priority Areas of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 in the Year of Support of Active Business, Innovative Ideas and Technologies” identified tasks that will be implemented as a continuation of the reforms. The reforms outlined in the program in the economic sphere will serve the further growth of our country's economy in the current year.

The announcement of a moratorium on inspections of financial and business activities of business entities for two years will create the basis for their free activity. I think that the implementation of the reforms outlined in the State Program also imposes a great responsibility on our party in ensuring sustainable economic development of the country, raising the level and quality of life of the population.
