The Uzbegoyim training center in the city of Andijan was established in 2012 and had only 2 workplaces. With the aim of vocational guidance for girls interested in sewing, the Center began to expand its activities. Currently, there are training courses for sewing luxury curtains, nurses, modeling, cooking, decoration, carving, and making artificial flowers. The training course is designed for 3 months, during which 30 girls master professions. Classes are taught by 4 teachers and a trainer. The center trains girls not only from all districts of the region, but also from the neighboring Kyrgyzstan. It is gratifying that 2 girls who completed the course organized branches of the center in Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Umidakhon Usmonova – the Director of the center helps many women in employment. On her initiative, free training was organized for girls who live in the territory adjacent to the training center and are included in “Ayollar Daftari”.

The meeting, organized at the training center by the deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Umidakhon Zokirova and the Women’s Wing of Andijan Regional Council of UzLiDeP, was held in an atmosphere of sincerity and mutual understanding. They got acquainted with the activities of the center, with girls and teachers, discussed the existing problems.

“I studied at this center”, said Mokhlaroy Begmatova. – Now I teach carving and artificial flower making. My goals are big. I want to organize a branch of the center, but so far there are problems in obtaining a loan.

It was decided that Umidakhon Zokirova will deal with the problem of Mokhlaroy.
