Chairman of Chakar CAM of the city of Karshi, Norgul Mustafakulova, addressed a letter to the deputy of Karshi city council Arzikul Sherov, which notes the need for the deputy to participate in resolving the conflict between the Director of Sanoat Akmal-Assi LLC market operating in the mahalla and the population.

While studying the problem, the deputy A. Sherov found that the intersection of the adjacent streets Kulol and Bunyodkor is rather narrow, moreover, the head of Sanoat Akmal-Assi LLC MCJ Anvar Alikulov intends to increase the market area towards the street by several meters. A. Alikulov provided the population with a decision of the city hokim and a draft estimate. And the question arises: should we believe the decision of the hokim of the city of Karshi, or take into account the opinion of the population of the mahalla?

A. Alikulov believes that the reason for the narrowing of the street is the bakery of Kamol Jumayev, a resident of house No. 1 on Bunyodkor Street. This building occupies several meters of the street. At the same time, A. Alikulov confirms that this structure was also erected based on the project in 2018, according to the decision of the hokim of the city of Karshi.

“The conflict between the entrepreneur and the population has been going on since 2010”, said Norgul Mustafakulova, Chairperson of Chakar CAM of the city of Karshi. – From year to year the intersection of the adjacent streets Kulol and Bunyodkor is narrowing. So the street can disappear completely. And this is inconvenient for the population. I think that the street should be left as it is indicated in the general plan of the city, all additional structures should be demolished. And the conflict will be resolved. I ask the deputy of Karshi city council to resolve this issue, if possible, bring it up for discussion at the session of the city council.

According to the deputy A. Sherov, the deputies of Karshi city council should study the legality of the decisions made by the hokim of the city of Karshi in different years and make a conclusion. At the same time, it is necessary to give a legal assessment of the activities of the commission for the allocation of land territories.
