UzLiDeP together with the Center for Support of Entrepreneurship and Farming of Uzbekistan organized a round table on the theme "Creating opportunities for domestic producers is an important factor in country's economic development and competitiveness" to discuss the implementation of the decree of the President of our country "On measures to further streamline the foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

The event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, deputies, heads of companies-importers and farmers.

During the conversation, participants noted the need to stimulate the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, increase its competitiveness, and create favorable conditions for providing domestic producers with raw materials.

It was noted that this decree abolished duties on the import of petroleum and petroleum products, large and small livestock, fish products, potatoes, milk, flour and other foodstuffs.

During the discussion, important issues related to the import of the products of foreign-trade-importing enterprises, available opportunities and urgent tasks in further improving the export-import capacity of the industry were discussed.

At the end of the event, it was decided to widely disseminate the decree among population, entrepreneurs and farmers.
