At the initiative of UzLiDeP deputies Halimjon Safarov and Matluba Badriddinova, a medical examination of the population was carried out by professors and teachers of the Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology of Bukhara State Medical Institute in Afshon family polyclinic of Peshku district.

Experienced specialists carried out diagnostics, gave consultations, and medicines were allocated to those in need.

“Not without reason, this year has been declared the Year of Supporting Youth and Improving Population Health”, said deputy Matluba Badriddinova. – We told the residents about the measures to preserve health, the rules of healthy eating and the prevention of diseases.

In this regard, the cooperation of the Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology of Bukhara State Medical Institute and the regional branch of the Republican Center of Cardiology is very effective. The purpose of the consultations on the prevention of cardiological, endocrinological diseases and diseases of internal organs was to improve the health of patients who are registered at the dispensary.

Family doctors and nurses were given medical booklets on the rules for keeping medical records, prevention of diseases, proper nutrition, early detection of risk factors for diseases, promotion and explanation of a healthy lifestyle to the population, prevention of diseases and the use of medicines.

A master class was held on involving citizens registered in the “Youth Notebook”, “Women’s Notebook”, “Iron Notebook” for medical examination, studying and solving their problems.

In the second part of the event, the deputy of the regional and city councils of UzLiDeP Halimjon Safarov received about ten citizens in need of free treatment. During the conversation, it was revealed that people with chronic serious diseases do not have funds for treatment, purchase of medicines, as well as other problems.

Measures were taken to provide free treatment for citizens with serious illnesses. The doctors who will deal with their treatment have been identified, consultations were given.
