At the meeting of UzLiDeP Deputy Group in Bayaut district Council of people’s deputies, the report of the deputy head of the regional Center for promoting employment of the population Sherzod Artikbayev was heard.

As is known, women and young people make up the majority of the population of Uzbekistan. To solve their problems in the context of mahallas, districts, cities and regions, “Youth Notebook”, “Women’s Notebook” were formed, which differ from the “Iron Notebook”. These notebooks register unemployed women and young people in need of social, legal, psychological assistance, and who want to acquire work skills. The reforms being carried out in the country are carried out based on the idea “It is not the people who should serve the government, but the government should serve the people”. This principle, put forward by the President of the country, has an important place in our life, serves as the basis for the implementation of reforms aimed at further improving the living standards of the population and allows us to look to the future with hope.

It will not be a mistake to say that the words of the Head of the state that it is necessary to be among the people, to introduce an effective system of employment for those who need it, and where the leader, visiting houses, learns and solves the problems of the population, the situation with living conditions, work and everyday life, also indicates once again that this idea should take an important place in our life.

Over the past period of this year, the Employment Promotion Center received applications from 1228 people. 271 of them – 180 women and 13 young people – are employed. 201 young people and 46 women studied professions in entrepreneurship centers, and work in this direction continues. 91 women and 43 young people are involved in seasonal work. 53 women and 28 young people have been granted unemployment benefits.

The allocation of subsidies to unemployed citizens was also noted.

The deputies of the district Council Allamurod Gulmurodov, Muhammadjon Rakhmonov spoke about cooperation with officials in the issue of providing employment for women and youth.
