UzLiDeP, its supporters and activists, express serious concern over the aggravation of the situation in East Jerusalem. UzLiDeP calls on the parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to stop violence, refrain from further escalating the situation and prevent bloodshed.

UzLiDeP considers it necessary to take appropriate measures to resolve the conflict only by political and diplomatic means, ensuring the observance of the status quo of holy places in Jerusalem. The solution to the Palestinian-Israeli problem should be carried out in accordance with the norms of international law, based on previously adopted resolutions of the UN Security Council and the principle of “two states for two peoples”.
