Appeals from 112 citizens heard at mobile reception

UzLiDeP held a mobile public reception in Chiroqchi district of Kashkadarya region as part of its nationwide “Together with the People” program. During the open dialogue, attended by party deputies and heads of relevant organizations, 112 citizens raised nearly 70 issues.

During the reception, citizens in need of social support received UZS 10 million in financial assistance, children from low-income families were awarded party scholarships, and several families received construction materials to repair their homes.

The program also focused on promoting employment and expanding income sources. Six young people were employed, while 11 others received sewing machines, welding equipment, electric ovens, and equipment for spraying trees and mowing grass to help them become self-employed. Four young people who wanted to start their own businesses received assistance in obtaining bank loans. Twenty-two older people and citizens with chronic illnesses who required health support were provided with wheelchairs, hearing aids, medicines, and vouchers for treatment at sanatoriums.

Entrepreneurs and farmers also proposed measures to develop manufacturing and agriculture in the region. In particular, participants discussed establishing greenhouses and orchards with drip irrigation amid water shortages, cultivating rainfed crops, and creating new sources of income by developing carpet weaving and wood carving.

Appeals concerning employment, road repairs, improvements to electricity supply, installation of new transformers, and timely delivery of liquefied gas cylinders were referred to the relevant organizations, with deputies tasked with monitoring implementation.
