UzLiDeP delegation participates in the 46th Meeting of the ICAPP Standing Committee

A delegation led by Aktam Khaitov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP, arrived in Seoul, Republic of Korea, to attend the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), taking place from November 4 to 7.

Ahead of the General Assembly’s main sessions, the organization’s Standing Committee held its 46th meeting on November 4. UzLiDeP representatives also attended the meeting and actively participated in discussions on the agenda items.

Participants addressed preparations for the General Assembly, candidates for its Bureau, the draft Seoul Declaration, and organizational matters related to the Standing Committee’s composition and activities. Participants also discussed ICAPP’s work programs for 2027, events focusing on youth and women, business and cultural cooperation, and the expansion of ties with international and regional organizations. Relevant decisions were adopted.

The General Assembly, held under the theme “Rebuilding Trust in a Changing World”, will focus on ensuring lasting peace and stability, strengthening democracy and governance, developing artificial intelligence for shared prosperity, and addressing climate change.

UzLiDeP was elected to the ICAPP Standing Committee in 2025. Since then, the party has been participating in discussions aimed at promoting dialogue and practical cooperation among political parties within the framework of the committee.
