UzLiDeP deputies discuss education quality and existing challenges in Akkurgan

At the initiative of the UzLiDeP Tashkent Regional Council, a public hearing was held in Akkurgan district to review ongoing efforts, existing challenges and progress in implementing priority tasks in preschool and school education system. The hearing addressed issues related to ensuring openness and transparency in education and strengthening public oversight.

At the hearing, Rokhatali Tojiboyev, head of the Akkurgan District Department of Preschool and School Education, delivered his report.

Attention was focused on ongoing efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of education, enhance teachers’ professional competencies, strengthen schools’ facilities and resources, ensure regular student attendance and support talented young people.

Following the discussions, participants put forward specific proposals and recommendations to address sector challenges, ensure parents’ appeals are considered promptly, improve conditions in educational institutions, and strengthen public oversight. Responsible officials received instructions to ensure the assigned tasks are carried out.
