Today, a meeting was held at the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) with a delegation of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and members of the Korean Parliament. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Won Do-Yeon.

During the meeting, the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in particular efforts to boost the economy, strengthen social protection, and enhance Uzbekistan’s international standing, were highly praised.

The discussion also focused on the priority tasks of UzLiDeP in ensuring sustainable economic growth, developing entrepreneurship, attracting innovations and investments, and implementing effective social policies.

It was emphasized that the activities of ICAPP are based on equality and mutual benefit, serving as an essential platform for the exchange of experience among political parties and for finding joint solutions to global challenges.

Following the meeting, UzLiDeP expressed its readiness to continue supporting ICAPP initiatives and to develop cooperation within the framework of the organization.
