Samarkand – a global dialogue platform for young parliamentarians

The 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, being held in Samarkand, once again underscores Uzbekistan’s active and proactive role in international inter-parliamentary cooperation. Hosting this prestigious forum reflects growing trust in Uzbekistan and its role as a platform for global political dialogue.

The conference brings together young politicians from around the world, providing an important opportunity to seek solutions to contemporary challenges, exchange experiences, and strengthen the role of young people in political processes. In particular, the younger generation's participation in parliamentary activities increases the importance of new ideas, modern approaches, and constructive dialogue in shaping future policies and lawmaking.

Members of the UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, as well as members of the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Chamber, are also actively participating in the conference. Their participation provides an important platform for young people from Uzbekistan to advance their positions and initiatives in international inter-parliamentary dialogue and exchange experience with their foreign counterparts.
