Odinakhon Otakhonova, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, visited several mahallas and socio-economic facilities in Shahrikhan district, Andijan region, where she held open meetings with residents.

During the meetings, residents were informed about the key tasks outlined at videoconference meetings chaired by the President, as well as newly adopted laws and their significance for people’s daily lives. Discussions in Oq Tunlik mahalla focused on the area’s socio-economic development, ongoing projects, and issues of concern to residents.

The deputy also explained the main objectives of the seven national programs announced at the ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence and reviewed their implementation in the district. She visited the home of Mashrabkhon Muydinov, a resident of Devatagi Street in Oq Tunlik mahalla, to assess his living conditions. During the visit, his housing needs were examined, and the issue was successfully resolved.

Odinakhon Otakhonova also inspected road repairs on streets that had received funding under the Participatory Budget initiative. In particular, she reviewed the quality of asphalt paving work on Devatagi Street. The deputy also examined the condition of the electricity supply, power lines, and concrete utility poles along the street.
