The next meeting of the party’s deputy group in the Syrdarya Regional Council of UzLiDeP and the Regional Council of People’s Deputies was held. This year’s party, deputy group activity, and priority tasks were discussed in detail. The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP Aktam Khaitov took part in the meeting. In his speech, the Leader of the party noted that increasing the activity of deputies and approaching the implementation of programs of state and community importance more responsibly are essential tasks. It was noted that the positive works carried out in Uzbekistan, the results of the intensive reforms, and their main goal are focused on human life, rights, freedoms, dignity, needs, and interests. During the discussions, opinions and suggestions were expressed about effectively using the possibilities of parliamentary control to implement the tasks defined in the state program of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy and its implementation in 2024 – the Year of Support for Youth and Business. During the reporting period, 524 deputy requests were issued in 2023 by the members of UzLiDeP deputation groups in Syrdarya regional, district, and city councils of people’s deputies. Of these, 121 were sent by regional deputies and 403 by district (city) Council deputies. Hearings were organized 97 times. 16 were carried out by regional deputy groups, and 81 by district (city) deputy groups. Also, 42 proposals were included in the agenda of regional, city, and district Councils of People’s Deputies sessions, and 39 decisions of district (city) Councils of People’s Deputies were adopted. 176 public control activities were carried out on important and urgent issues. Based on the program goals of the party, the activities of the primary party organizations and party deputies were analyzed at the meeting, and recommendations and instructions were given to improve work efficiency. Following the meeting, a decision was made on the following tasks of Sirdarya Regional Council of UzLiDeP.
