Drinking water supply to be improved in two villages of Shumanay district

As part of studying the effectiveness of reforms being implemented in the regions, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis G. Khalmuratova and Department Head at the Executive Committee of the UzLiDeP Political Council A. Alimov held an open dialogue with residents in the mahallas of Shumanay district.

As part of the dialogue, the condition of the road leading to School No. 23 in Mamiy mahalla, as well as problems with the drinking water supply in the Shor Jap and Diydar villages, were examined on site. As a result, proposals were put forward to asphalt a 1.6-kilometer section of the road leading to the school, reconstruct Water Distribution Facility No. 6, and lay 22 kilometers of drinking water networks to the villages. In the Aqjap mahalla, the issue of equipping a 90-place preschool educational institution with the necessary facilities was considered.

During the reception in Birleshik mahalla, officials held a dialogue with young entrepreneurs, during which they discussed fish farmer Aynura Jumabayeva's plans to expand her business. A proposal was put forward to allocate a grant to develop her duck-farming business.

The studies conducted in the mahallas show that identifying issues related to roads, drinking water, education, preschool education, and entrepreneurship together with residents, and developing practical proposals to address them, are becoming an important outcome of deputies’ activities.
