68 young people find jobs in Jambay

A “Welcome to Work” job fair was held in Jambay district to promote employment, particularly for young people, and help them find decent jobs.

More than 300 young people took part in the event, organized at the initiative of the Samarkand Regional Council of UzLiDeP as part of the nationwide “Together with the People” program. More than 40 enterprises and organizations offered 580 job openings.

At the fair, young people received detailed information on available vacancies, working conditions, salaries, and recruitment procedures. Open dialogues with employers were held, and practical recommendations were provided for jobs that matched young people's interests and abilities. As a result, 68 young people received job referrals.

Young people wishing to start a business or expand an existing one were also informed about the process for obtaining preferential loans. These job fairs not only promote youth employment but also provide practical opportunities for career guidance, entrepreneurship, and access to a stable source of income.
