On May 12, 2023, the next meeting of the Political Council of the movement of entrepreneurs and businessmen – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent.
It discussed the participation of Uzlidep in the early elections for the presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held on July 9 of this year, and the issue of the candidate nominated from the party at the next Congress of the party.
At the meeting, it was decided that Uzlidep, as a leading political force, will participate with a worthy candidate in the pre-term election to the presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, pursuing the desires and interests of millions of electorates.
In the Assembly, a special emphasis has been placed on the fact that over the past years, huge reforms have been carried out in all areas under the leadership of the head of our state. It was noted that a number of works were carried out to further liberalize entrepreneurial activity based on the requirements of modern market relations, including the introduction of a moratorium on various investigations into the activities of entrepreneurs, the radical simplification of licensing and permitting procedures, the restriction of state intervention in the economy by privatizing enterprises with state participation, supporting competition.
At the same time, as a result of the creation of a favorable investment and business environment, as a result of which the number of entrepreneurs in our country reached almost 2 million, the number of people employed in business entities also increased several times, as a result of the division of 200,000 hectares of land into a population for peasant farms in order to expand, the development of family entrepreneurship was recognized by the members of the Political Council of the party.
In addition, the progress made in our country to support the elderly, young people and women, reduce poverty, strengthen industry, promote the economic-social growth of regions, develop the fields of culture and art, promote human and its interests in general, and create the necessary conditions for people to live a decent life was emphasized.
The meeting also paid special attention to the fact that the achievements in our country are highly recognized not only in Uzbekistan, but also by the international community.
It was recognized that all these achievements were undoubtedly the result of the reforms carried out under the leadership of Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoev.
It was also noted that the future of the country, the demand for a turbulent period should be nominated for the upcoming presidential election by Uzlidep, a person who will be able to ensure that the path of these reforms will be followed by perseverance and stability, able to continue the arduous task of reforming society at a new, specific stage.
Members of the political Council of uzlidep unanimously supported the inclusion in the next party s'ezdi discussion of the nomination of Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoev to the presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a leader worthy and capable of continuing these noble works further, leading our people to new heights.
The meeting also dealt with issues related to the norm of representation from the party territorial councils to the Congress, the transfer of the Congress.
At the end of the session, the Political Council of Uzlidep established tasks for timely and high-quality submission of documents related to the party's participation in the elections to the Central Election Commission in the deadlines established by the election legislation, holding conferences of Regional, District and city councils of Uzlidep on the election of delegates to the party congress in places and
