01 Relevance
Young people’s legal and political engagement is decisive for building a democratic state and a strong civil society in our country. Today, young people’s legal literacy and understanding of the legislative process are insufficient, and their participation in parliament and local councils is low.
The “Role of Youth in Parliament” project is highly relevant for involving young people widely in the governance of the state and society, drawing parliament’s particular attention to youth issues, raising legal knowledge and political culture, and building a pool of promising young professionals within the party.
02 Project goal
To involve young people widely in building a democratic state governed by the rule of law and a strong civil society in our country; to put issues related to young people’s problems on the agenda of deputy group meetings; and to carry out the party tasks arising from the speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev.
03 Objectives
- Involving young people widely in building a democratic state governed by the rule of law and a strong civil society not only raises their activity in society but also lays a solid foundation for the country’s future development. This means ensuring young people’s active participation in political, social and economic life and widening the opportunities to put their views into practice; putting youth issues on the agenda of deputy group meetings and taking the legal and practical measures needed to resolve them; organising the party’s work more effectively and carrying out initiatives that advance young people’s interests, in line with the tasks set out in the speeches of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev; and raising young people’s legal literacy, involving them widely in legal and cultural reforms and fostering patriotic values among them.

- Drafting and discussing bills based on young people’s proposals
- Dialogue platforms on youth issues in parliament and local councils
- Seminars, training sessions and master classes to raise political and legal literacy
05 Expected results
The project will raise young people’s legal and political literacy and enable them to take an active part in parliament and local councils. By taking the initiative in solving youth problems, they will contribute to improving party and state policy. At the same time, a pool of promising young leaders and managers will take shape, and the promotion of democratic values and civic responsibility will grow stronger.
