Drinking water supply restored to more than 100 households at the deputy’s initiative

Deputy Guldana Avezdurdieva from the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis visited the Ata Yurt settlement in Turtkul district to study residents’ concerns about drinking water. She discovered that over 100 households within the mahalla had been without centralized clean drinking water for five months. The disruption was caused by damage to the drinking water pipeline during irrigation canal cleaning operations, which led to a halt in water supply to the residents.

To address the problem promptly, the deputy contacted the relevant officials and responsible organizations and discussed the issue on site. Practical measures were taken to repair the malfunction in the drinking water network and restore water service to the population. As a result, the damaged section of the pipeline was repaired, and centralized clean drinking water service was restored to more than 100 households.

Studying residents’ appeals on site, identifying socially significant problems, and ensuring their practical resolution are among the key areas of deputies’ activities. Such effective work demonstrates the importance of resolving issues that directly affect citizens’ daily lives in cooperation with responsible organizations.
