Businesswoman of the Mahalla” is expanding opportunities for women

As part of the nationwide program “Together with the People”, the mahalla stage of the “Businesswoman of the Mahalla” competition was held in the settlement of “Karakalpakstan”, a remote area of Karakalpakstan.

At the competition, which brought together nearly 20 entrepreneurs, Sulyukhan Berdanova and Juldyzay Izbasarova advanced to the next stage.

It should be noted that the “Suliw Yasinur” enterprise, headed by Ms. Berdanova, was established in 2022 and currently operates in several areas. More than 25 women have been provided with permanent employment at the enterprise. Ms. Izbasarova, meanwhile, produces 27 types of confectionery products and has provided permanent jobs for five women.

Participants in the competition noted that this initiative by UzLiDeP is helping to strengthen the role of women engaged in entrepreneurship in society.
