Students learn about careers of the future
Today at the UzLiDeP Political Council, a roundtable discussion on “Careers of the Future” was held as part of the “Employment and Sources of Income” project, bringing together first-year university students and experts.
Officials from the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, activists from the UzLiDeP Youth Wing, and students attended the event and exchanged views on current labor market trends and opportunities for young people.
During the discussion, students received recommendations on choosing the right career path while studying, finding jobs that match their field of specialization, and building modern professional skills and competencies. Particular attention was also paid to effectively using online platforms that connect employers with young jobseekers, accessing information about job openings, and developing knowledge and skills aligned with labor market requirements.
Following the roundtable, the students received detailed answers from specialists to the questions that interested them.
