Enterprising women of Takhiatash mahalla selected

At the initiative of the Takhiatash District Council of UzLiDeP, the “Enterprising Woman of the Mahalla” contest was organized to support women’s entrepreneurial activities in mahallas. Participants presented their business projects, products, and the results of their work.

During the contest, women entrepreneurs working in areas such as sewing, carpet weaving, and confectionery and bakery production shared their experiences and presented their work to promote women’s employment in mahallas.

A job fair was also held as part of the event, creating new opportunities for women seeking employment. As a result of the fair, three women were offered permanent jobs. Such initiatives help increase women’s economic activity and foster entrepreneurship.
