Electricity supply improved for nearly 300 households in Khojayli

Addressing residents’ concerns and finding practical solutions to their problems is one of the key objectives of UzLiDeP’s nationwide “Together with the People” program. Residents of Taban Jap Street in Parvoz mahalla, Khojayli district, also submitted an appeal about electricity supply through the program’s platform, and the deputy placed it under oversight. Nearly 300 households in the area had been experiencing frequent power outages because the old transformer’s capacity was insufficient to meet demand.

Aybek Tajimuratov, a deputy of the Khojayli District Council of People’s Deputies, examined the problem with the relevant organizations and raised it at a Council session. As a result, the Khojayli District Council of People’s Deputies adopted a resolution allocating funds to replace the transformer.

The resolution was implemented, and on October 5, the old transformer on Taban Jap Street in Parvoz mahalla was replaced with a new one. This case shows the importance of listening to residents’ concerns on the ground, bringing them before the relevant Council, and ensuring adopted decisions are implemented to improve people’s living conditions.
