Agricultural entrepreneurs honored in Bukhara
Aktam Khaitov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP, visited Jondor and Olot districts of Bukhara region to review ongoing work in entrepreneurship, manufacturing, and agriculture. In particular, the delegation met with residents in Khojikent mahalla of Jondor district, then visited a horse-breeding farm established by entrepreneurs Ruslan Negmurodov and Ziyodullo Khaitov.
The farm currently keeps 270 horses of foreign breeds and provides permanent employment for 8 people. During the visit, attention was paid to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives, increasing production volumes, creating new jobs, and making effective use of existing opportunities.
Mr. Khaitov also visited the Saida Akhmedova farm in Mukhtor mahalla of Olot district to review the cotton harvesting process. Chinese Xinjiang-Uyghur cotton seed has been planted on 23.5 hectares of the farm, with a planned harvest of 145 tons. At present, an FMW WORT cotton harvester is collecting 35-40 tons of cotton per day. An additional 30 workers have also been engaged in the harvesting process.
At the meeting, the district administration recognized the work of the heads and machine operators of the Islom, Oltin Tuproq, Yashnarbek Sanoqulov, Kumak Bobo, and Shamsiddin Abdiyev farms and presented them with gifts.
