Effective resolution achieved via deputy’s intervention
Residents of the “Shar-Shar Bogot” mahalla in Yakkabag district, Kashkadarya region, had filed several complaints about a stone-processing enterprise. Their primary concern was the heavy trucks driving through internal streets, which caused dangerous conditions, dust, and noise.
In response to the appeals, Nargiza Salomova, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, visited the site with the district hokim and representatives of relevant organizations, where she conducted an on-site review and engaged in an open dialogue with residents and the entrepreneur.
Following the on-site discussions, a key agreement was made: heavy trucks headed to the plant will no longer go through residential neighborhoods. Instead, a new road will be constructed away from residential areas. The district administration will handle the permits for this project, and the entrepreneur will bear all construction expenses.
The decision will support residents’ safety, reduce dust and noise, and enable the business to operate safely.
