250 books donated to school library in Kasbi district

The “100 Books in One Day” campaign, held as part of the nationwide “Together with the People” program, was also organized at Jasorat School No. 16 in Kasbi district, Kashkadarya region.

During the event, participants learned about the school library’s activities and engaged in a lively discussion with students on the role of books in people’s lives, education and reading culture. Students actively participated by reciting poems they had memorized. Active students also received works of fiction and fairy-tale books as gifts. The discussion highlighted the importance of reading in broadening young people’s horizons, fostering their spiritual development and strengthening their ability to think independently.

Following the event, 250 selected works of fiction were donated to the school library.
