Presentation of the UzLiDeP election program was held in Maksam Chirchiq
Preparations for the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils of People’s Deputies on October 27 are in full swing. After the Central Election Commission permitted UzLiDeP to participate in the elections, the discussion of the project of the party’s election program began.
The first meeting to discuss the party’s election program project was organized in the factory of Maksam Chirchiq JSC in Chirchiq city. Party leader Aktam Khaitov, deputies, businesspeople, factory workers, and population representatives participated in the event.
As noted, the party is entering this year’s elections with the slogan “Not a promise, but a result, not tomorrow, but today”. In this year’s pre-election program, UzLiDeP paid serious attention to protecting the interests of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, farmers, science, education, and medical workers. During the discussion of the pre-election program held under the slogan “5 goals – 500 tasks”, the goals and tasks of UzLiDeP in the next 5 years and people’s ideas were discussed. In particular, the party has set clear goals for our population to live a comfortable life, for our children to enjoy quality education and medicine, for our women and intellectuals, as well as for our compatriots to live happily, for our people to have a full table and for our tomorrow to be bright. In the dialogue, it was noted that the party proposes to double the average salary of preschool education institutions and general secondary education institutions pedagogues to increase the funds paid for more than 153 thousand class leaders in general secondary schools.
Also, it was noted that to turn New Uzbekistan into a country with high culture and spirituality, where free and happy people live, the party has a clear plan to mobilize all its forces and capabilities, develop the concept of “New Uzbekistan – an enlightened society,” and establish a national program for its implementation. Also, detailed information was given about the goals in areas such as exempting salaried citizens from income tax up to 3 times the minimum amount of wages, revision of the number of social norms set for electricity and natural gas consumption based on seasonality, the inclusion of household members in the social protection register and the number of families, ensuring transparency and openness in financial reporting in energy supply.
The meeting participants expressed their suggestions and comments on the constant attention to scientists and creative intellectuals, their material and spiritual support, the improvement of working and living conditions, and the material and technical base of cultural and sports institutions, libraries, theaters, and museums. Also, the discussion participants emphasized that every family should have their own house to provide citizens with acceptable housing and recommended including this direction in the pre-election program of UzLiDeP.
