500 books donated to young people in Sergeli with the support of an UzLiDeP deputy
At the initiative of the UzLiDeP Tashkent City Council and Deputy Umid Muhammedov, the city children’s library collection in Sergeli district was enriched with 500 new fiction and scientific books as part of the “One Day – 1,000 Books” campaign.
The deputy met with young people and had a sincere conversation about the importance of reading. This gift created a valuable opportunity for the younger generation to gain knowledge.
In addition, families in need were not forgotten during the event as part of the “Path to the Heart” project. During mahalla-based studies, free food products were distributed to 20 families.
