Proposals voiced by realtors to be discussed in Parliament
A roundtable discussion on “The real estate market of Uzbekistan and its development prospects” was organized by the Executive Committee of the Political Council of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the Center for Support of Entrepreneurship and Farming in Uzbekistan.
At the event, the draft Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On realtor activity” was discussed.
The roundtable was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, representatives of the Ministries of Economy and Finance and Justice, the Agency for Management of State Assets, the Association of Realtor Organizations of Uzbekistan, and the Realtors Guild.
The discussion focused on the main provisions of the draft law, the practical aspects of regulating realtor activity, the introduction of professional standards in the realtor sector, and the responsibilities of market participants. It was agreed that the proposals discussed regarding the relevant provisions of the draft law would be submitted for consideration in Parliament.
