In Andijan region, a meeting was held to discuss the substance and significance of the fifth open dialogue between entrepreneurs and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which took place on August 20 this year. The meeting aimed to determine mechanisms for implementing the ideas and initiatives presented, as well as to address issues hindering the development of entrepreneurship.

This joint meeting was organized in cooperation with the Council of People’s Deputies of Andijan region and the UzLiDeP regional council’s parliamentary group. Party activists, local deputies, farmers, entrepreneurs, representatives from relevant agencies, and members of the broader public participated actively in the event.

At the meeting, Khurshidakhon Khalilova, head of the UzLiDeP deputy group in the Council of People’s Deputies of Andijan region, along with other speakers, emphasized that comprehensive development and support of entrepreneurship is one of the main directions of state policy in our country. It was noted that, at the initiative of the President, broad reforms are being implemented in this area, and concrete measures have been defined to address the issues raised during the open dialogues.

Members of the parliamentary group and experts provided detailed information on new developments in entrepreneurship-related legislation, tax and financial system incentives, benefits established for the use of land resources, and practical mechanisms for their implementation.

Proposals and initiatives were also discussed regarding the simplification of procedures for issuing permits for entrepreneurial activity, addressing infrastructure-related problems, and providing practical assistance to entrepreneurs.

Within the framework of the meeting, promotion groups comprising deputies, entrepreneurs, and public representatives were formed to convey the tasks defined in the President’s “Open Dialogue with Entrepreneurs” to the broader public and promote them effectively. These groups will establish ongoing dialogue with entrepreneurs, farmers, and small business representatives in local communities, study their opinions and proposals, identify pressing problems, and develop practical recommendations for their resolution.

As noted, following the event, such meetings and dialogues play a crucial role in the development of entrepreneurship, the enhancement of the business climate, and the practical implementation of initiatives proposed by the President. In turn, this will help actively involve the population in entrepreneurship, create new jobs, and contribute to the prosperity of society.
